Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Grisel grew up with an entrepreneurial spirit. After attenting college in New York City, Grisel was determined to take on the big city. 

 

Grisel began her career in fashion as a plus size model, quickly learning about the fast paced nature of the industry. After gaining a deeper knowledge of the ins and outs of fashion, Grisel noticed a void in the business -- a lack of quality, affordable ready to wear apparal for women of all sizes. With that in mind, her line "Grisel." was born.
